Solar Energy Initiative Reaches 500 Households

Sustainable renewable energy solutions transforming rural communities in Nangarhar province.

AREA’s Alternative Technologies department has reached 500 households in Nangarhar with sustainable renewable energy solutions. The initiative introduces technologies including solar cookers, solar water heaters, photovoltaic modules, wind pumps and biogas systems, reducing pressure on the country’s non-renewable sources of energy.
